What is Corevelio?
Corvelio (formerly know as Equicantis) is a business and rehabilitation platform designed specifically for animal physical therapists such as veterinary physiotherapists, hydrotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, equine and canine massage therapists, bodyworkers, musculoskeletal therapists and rehab specialists.
Our software is a cloud-based web application, so it can be accessed on any device. It gives you all the tools to manage your business AND create bespoke, professional exercises for your clients using our library of approximately 500 equine and canine exercises.
If, in addition to treating animals, you also treat humans, you can create human patient records and create session reports with anatomical drawings, keeping all your animal and human data in one place!

The Corevelio Story
I’m Laura Clinton, an Equine Musculoskeletal Therapist, qualified in Equine Sports Massage Therapy and Equine Musculoskeletal Manipulation Therapy and I’ve been practising for over 15 years in the UK, around the North West and North Wales.
I had been getting increasingly frustrated with how I was delivering exercise plans, both in terms of the time it was taking me and the level of service I was providing my clients. I was either handwriting plans at the end of an appointment or I was going home and typing them up. Neither of which was ideal. Not to mention clogging up my phone and cloud storage with photos and videos.

Handwriting
- Quick, but the quality was low. I was usually already over-running on the appointment and my handwriting would look rushed.
Typing at home
- This was time-consuming and might involve some homemade videos or photos, and some links to other therapists' videos - slightly improved quality but still pretty poor!
With either method, I really felt that I could and should be doing more for my clients to help give them confidence with the exercises and try to increase their compliance.
Showing them an exercise, watching them perform it, writing it down and sending them on their merry way just didn't feel enough.
There had to be a better way!
And that is where the journey began. Initially named Equicantis 'Equi' for equine, 'can' for canine, and 'tis' on the end because it needed something on the end! I began working on creating a software system to make everything more streamlined, more professional and to save animal practitioners time.

The Business & Admin System
We launched the exercise prescription element of our platform back in September 2021, and created loads of additional features over a two year period.
We helped animal therapists with equine and canine home exercise plans in 14 countries, but it had always been on the roadmap to create an all-in-one business system. So in February 2024 we launched Version 2.0 and transformed from 'Equicantis - Your Equine & Canine Exercise Prescription App', into 'Equicantis: The Business & Rehab System for Animal Physical Therapists'. Our existing exercise prescription platform but now with a substantial business system.
Student and Graduate Programme
Supporting those new to running an animal therapy business is important to us. This led to the launch of our student and graduate programme to ensure those studying have access to professional business tools whilst they study and in the early stages of their careers.
A new name and more plans
Fast forward to 2026 and discussions with other animal therapists and our own research have inspired more changes. As we approach the launch of V3.0 with a raft of updates in the pipeline, we’ve renamed the business Corevelio.
A new name and rebrand which reflects the direction we’re going in. Our commitment to the animal therapy industry hasn’t wavered, but we do have plans for more features and some exciting developments which will help us support even more of you as we move forward.
